Perches

The cats on their perches as we leave for work.  Dita has taken to sitting on the stove (ah, the warmth of the pilot lights).

It's time for...

Ok, this is a super lazy way to post pictures, but I just realized... why copy them all here when you can link to them?  So really, not lazy, just avoiding redundancy (ah, justifications...).

I had to add one photo, which mysteriously was left out of Chris' Flickr set:

The new paint job!

Ok, it looks really dark in these pictures, it is deep, but it's just my weenie camera phone that is making it look this dramatic.  Still I couldn't help posting some quick pictures.  There will be more to come in which you can make out more details, I promise!

Oh, and those are the finished (well 95%) curtains that you saw in the previous post as random pieces of purple velvet that Violet found so comfy.  I actually set out to make something and accomplished it!  These curtains and the baby (who I'm pretty sure I don't have a choice about finishing) - two things to check off the list!  ; )

Dita has already found the incredibly comfortable glider that Phoebe gave us.

Violet Relaxing

Violet decided that the purple velvet I bought for the curtains was so comfy she was willing to get under the crinkly brown paper to sit on it.  Sounds strange, but not as weird as Dita, who just sat right on top of the whole pile, crinkliness and all.
